Automation and APIs for video creators
About Pipeline Notes and this domain
What this domain used to be
From roughly 2010 to 2016, drupodcast.com was home to Drupodcast, a Spanish-language podcast about Drupal. It was part of a lively era of Drupal community media, and it was mentioned by community sites such as Drupalize.Me, DrupalEasy and the Pantheon blog.
Podcasts like that one helped people learn a complex open source system in their own language, one episode at a time. That deserves respect, and we want to be clear about what this site is and is not.
What this site is now
Pipeline Notes is not Drupodcast. It is not a continuation of the podcast, it is not affiliated with its hosts or guests, and nothing here speaks for them. If you are looking for the original episodes, they are not hosted here.
Today the domain hosts Pipeline Notes, published by the team behind ViceForge, an AI tool that turns long videos and streams into short clips. ViceForge is mentioned in some guides where it is a reasonable option, and links to it are marked clearly. Most of what you will read here is about tools that anyone can use, including free and open source ones.
What we write about
Automation for short video: clip pipelines, ffmpeg and codecs, upload APIs and webhooks, and connecting video to a website or CMS. The audience is developers and technical creators who like to understand the moving parts.
How we write
- Platform limits, quotas and endpoints come from official documentation, linked in the text where we use them.
- We do not publish invented statistics, benchmarks or quotes.
- Commands and code are tested or checked against official references before they go up.
- When something changes, we update the guide rather than leave a stale number in place.
Start with the guides, or go straight to how an automated clip pipeline works.
